CRAB BATTLE PART 3! The RE-FAN-CRABENING!

WELL HELLO! Berndicus the crab-slayer here, to give you lovely ponies a little bit of info on an upcoming experiment that we will be doing.

TL;DR If you don't want to read this huge wall of text here's me reading the entire thing!

The Rundown:

In April, we are going to attempt to make a fan-generated-content-episode.

How that works, is starting now, we'd like to ask you! Our fans! To create pony-art of a specific theme so we can feature and highlight all the work submitted to create a super-awesome-fan-sode-thing.

Our theme for this episode will be: CRAB BATTLE!

All you have to do to make it in the episode, is by the 11th of April, create a piece of Rarity (or whatever pony) fighting a giant crab, upload it to DevaintArt, then send us the link to your deviation to our email account: cutieartcrusaders@gmail.com with "Crab Battle" written somewhere in your email. Preferable in the subject. (It helps us sort it and not lose it) That's it.

Art Details:

It goes without saying, that all art must be pg-13, but crab annihilation will be permitted to an extent. All art must be sent to our email by the 11th or April (By noon PST), no later (That's when we record).
We are not picky about what goes in the art, it can be Rarity, it can be you, it can be us *cough cough*  _{Berndicus the crab slayer}  *cough cough* the freedom is yours. Just make sure there is a giant crab! BEING FOUGHT!!!!!! CRAB BATTLE!!!!!

The art can be any medium! Digital, traditional, whatever.

It can also be any skill level! We encourage even our non-artistically-inclined fans to go and sketch some sweet crab battle art.

The art must be crated for the episode! So if you've created crab battle artwork in the past, that doesn't mean you can't submit a piece. You just can't submit the piece you have already made prior.

We will be highlighting your art work. We will not critique it without permission. So, if you would like a critique, please state so explicitly. We like to remain educational so if you would like some constructive feed back on your art work please state so and we'd be happy to offer our artistic thoughts on how to better your work. We will try to remain as respectful as possible and offer information that we feel will help you and our viewers alike.

You don't have to be a huge fan of our show to make content for it. Heck, you don't even have to know who we are. You just have to make the art-piece for this episode.

All Art must be uploaded to Deviantart and the link sent to our email. This will allow us to make a favorites folder, accurately highlight your work, and give you the credit you deserve.

Disclaimers / closing statements:

Now all that being said, this is an experiment, we have never done something like this before and we have no clue if it will work. It could totally flop and no one sends anything in, it never happens, and we're sad ponies. But we're going to give it a shot! We have been amazed by our fans in the past! We have been looking for new ways to interact with our fans and feature you on our show. As well as look for some more fun ways to make our little art show more interesting. The thought of people who watch our show actually making the content for it sounded like a really cool and exciting idea and if this episode goes really well we will definitely do it again in the future with even more fun themes!

**If under the circumstance we get WAY TOO MUCH ART we will be using our discretion on what we feature or how long we talk about it. We really want to feature everyone's work, but if in the next month or so we get hundreds of submissions, we will be forced to be selective about the pieces we feature and most likely choose the more skilled pieces that have a lot more substance to talk about on the show rather than say a ton of names and skip over your art for an entire hour. We want to give everyone the time they deserve, but we have to be realistic. But please don't let that be a discouraging factor for you we love everyone who sends in anything. And:

We will be creating a huge favorites folder with all the submissions received! So even if we aren't able to feature everyone's work, we will still be directing everyone to a huge amazing folder dedicated to CRAB BATTLE!!! We might even do something with all the art on our YouTube page, like personal critiques, but no promises.
